Ethapazha Curry / Kaayi Curry/ Sweet plantain curry

My beloved mom used to make this sweet plantain curry every Eid for breakfast along with Puttu. She got this recipe from my paternal grandma . She kept the century old tradition after she got married and now we are following her. The first thing that I would do when I get home from Eid prayer, is to chill some of these sweet curry and share with my cousins while waiting for the palakkadan delicious biriyani.

Rose Breeze

Rose breeze is a cousin of Panineer Soda(rose water flavoured sweet soda). When we were school going kids, there was no coke or pepsi. It was just Plain soda or Panineer soda.Panineer soda was more dignified than the “Goli” soda which involved drinking your soda through a glass bottle with a glass marble. I don’t know if there is any market for the colourless panineer soda in this coke era.
